ABOUT YOUR AUTHOR

Roger Bridgeman, Principal

A 30+ year record of running marketing, communications and PR campaigns that ask "what if?" and "how about?" Lead generator, media pitcher, story-telling writer and marcom planner for Fortune 100 brands and 3-month start-ups, alike. Coach to team of wordsmiths, data wonks, digital designers and marketing pros. Part-time academic and full-time story craftsman.

With more than 30 years in public relations and communications, Roger’s experience extends from financial and professional services to high tech, industrial and consumer marketing. He’s represented Fortune 100 companies from General Electric, Texas Instruments, Motorola, Microsoft, Kodak, Raytheon and Cisco, to new ventures and overseas companies. Along the way he’s learned that well crafted communications, coupled with purpose and precision, can create powerful persuasion that changes minds and moves markets.

Prior to establishing his own firm in 1986, Roger worked in Boston and New York for a number of leading marketing communications and public relations firms, representing companies including Fleet Financial Group (now Bank of America), Philip Morris U.S.A., Harvard Community Health Plan, Matsushita Electric (Panasonic) and Nippon Telegraph & Telephone. Roger’s corporate experience includes managing the national public relations initiatives for GE Capital (then GE Credit) and GE Venture Capital Company.

Roger holds a Bachelor of Science degree in public relations from Boston University’s College of Communication, where some 25-plus years later he served on the part-time faculty teaching Corporate Public Affairs to graduate students. He also serves on the boards of the N.E. Public Relations Society of America and Massachusetts Business Marketing Association.
